Violinist.com interview with Simon FischerMany families believe that with one single violin lesson, their children can go a long way. The benefits of being able to play classical music on an instrument could be very inspiring for many students. It also has benefits to the brain development of young people. It could be very challenging for advanced students as they would not be able to know where they really stand. Beginners, on the other hand, would not be able to notice the difference between a good violin lesson and a bad version. Often, those lessons which are being shared on the internet have a poor quality and students should always watch out for those kinds of lessons. There is oftentimes, no refund possible for lessons that have already been paid for. The reason for this policy is the low amount of money that they pay for these types of lessons. Many of them only cost one dollar or even less.

Believe it or not, but you can truly lease a flute for beginners. In fact, it’s the best thing to do rather than purchase one outright. Beginners should be given as much time as they need to explore all their options. It would be unfair and disadvantageous if they are only allowed to learn how one type of flute plays. If they’re allowed to try out different kinds of flutes, they may discover that their talent might improve when using one particular type. As this can happen to the best of musicians, why couldn’t it happen to beginners themselves as well?

Unfortunately, not all music stores are willing to offer leases for their instruments. You should check out those in your area first as they are the most convenient to get a leased instrument from. Failing that, you should try those in other nearby towns or cities. Be sure to ask your friends if they can refer anything as well!

Her Best Performance
Posted on November 10th, 2011 at 7:11 AM by admin

My family has a history of great musicians. I am a pretty good pianist myself. In any case, my cousin is only 15 years old, but she has been performing for a long time now. In her most recent performance though, I lent her my Yamaha CP33. For more information on the Yamaha CP33, click here.

This had to be her best performance ever. Although I was always knew that she was using rather limiting digital pianos during her performances, I would have never guessed that simply switching to the Yamaha CP33 would draw out her true potential. It was beautiful. We might have ourselves a new prodigy.

Before this performance, she was always using the Casio PX-130. However, the Yamaha CP33 has a much more stage-friendly interface that allows her to adjust certain aspects of her performance while she’s performing. This is really the true power behind the Yamah CP33, and she managed to do it all so effortlessly.

The Yamaha CP33 stage piano is considered to be the perfect instrument for performances. I never truly understood that until now.

When composing Music For Bassoon it is wise to browse through the bassoon literature from the past. Composers from the baroque era began to create independent music for the bassoon, though it lacked a real idiosyncratic character. That was true because the instrument at the time lacked a great deal of a special personality. Its primary purpose was considered to double the lines of the cello and contrabass. However, a few composers like George Telemann began creating work unique to the bassoon. However, it was the classical era composers who began to define a real style of music for the bassoon. As improvements were made and more professional and virtuoso players came on line, the bassoon began to attract the attention of the finest composers. Mozart, Hummel and Stamitz composed music that has passed the test of time and have proven to be worthy of study for the modern composer. These composers set the standard for today’s composers.

Michael was a 5-year old boy with a typical autism and assessed to be a general mental retarded. He was generally a smiling kid but a very passive one. He had not learnt any language but actively used ten words, including music and two. For a long time, Michael’s initiative in music therapy was to sit up the trampoline and jump. Since he was far more active and socially present on the trampoline than normal, the therapist decided to begin each session with his jumping movements accompanied by online piano lessons.

At the beginning of the process, there were no signs that Michael saw no connection between his movement and the therapist’s game. However, after nine months, he had developed a relationship between them. When the therapist made a sudden break in the folk music, Michael would stop his jumping, looked down smiling and waited for the music to start. This Interaction theme became so robust that the therapist followed this method during every session.

Sometimes Michael acted as a technician and on other times, the therapist played the role. These two situations overlapped every time about three seconds after the therapist’s last utterance. The overlap was due to the fact that Michael’s latency was slightly longer than the normal pause lengths. The therapist tried to teach Michael how to play piano.

Overall, the music therapy with Michael was a clear example of how the features of early parent-child interaction can be enhanced significantly in music therapy. The combination of hops movement in the trampoline and folk melodies on the piano, the music and physical breaks and call motives ensured that Michael sustained both attention and his active participation for the continuation of the interaction. Due to the music therapy, Michael began to show significant progress in his response time.
